Who is Wunderhorse?

Wunderhorse is an indie rock outfit headed up by ex Dead Pretties frontman, Jacob Slater. Ashamedly, I first discovered Wunderhorse whilst aimlessly scrolling through Tik Tok, when one of their videos at no more than 400 views or so came up on my for you page. As soon as I heard the music, I had to learn more.

Since releasing their debut single ‘Teal’ via Yala! Records and subsequently signing to Communion Records in November 2021, the band have burst onto the UK rock scene, with clear ambitions to take the project worldwide.

Fast forward to now, and the band have just released their debut album ‘Cub,’ a mix of energetic, raw, and unforgettable songs. ‘Leader of the Pack,’ a leading single, has you hooked within the first few seconds with the catchy guitar riff and upbeat drums.

Wunderhorse is an exciting, raw talent with creative songwriting abilities. With a sold out London show at Lafayette on the horizon, as well as support slots with Fontaines D.C. and Sam Fender, we know this band are going be a major name in music.
